Details of Revision
Use the CVECO Manual revision process on page 2 of this form to make
revisions to the specific section.
Complete the Revision Request Form - Section 1 of this document.
Download the desired section of the manual from the CAER web site (www.caer.ca)
When the document is opened, a prompt appears asking whether or not to enable macros - click on “enable macros”.
The macro turns on a feature that highlights all changes made so that the approver can easily see the proposed changes.
Make the revision.
In the example below, the work “standard” has been added and the word “basic” has been deleted. A bar appears in the margin to indicate a change has been made.
Save the document under its original name plus the work “revision”.
Example: Section 11 - Incident Management Revision
Forward the file to the CAER Administrator ([email protected]) by e-mail for review by the CVECO Executive. They will then accept or reject the proposed changes and provide feedback to the originator.
