CAER WORKING COMMITTEE MINUTES January 15, 2022 Dave Beer Imperial Oil Regrets: Allan Ebert, Steve Beatty, Dan Overy, Chris Powell, Mark Wetering, Cal Gardner, Richard Boyes Call to Order by Chair Dave Beer: 1:35 P.M. Approval of Previous Minutes: Motion: Archie Kerr Seconded Bill Tyndall Business Arising: 1) FM emergency broadcasting: Brian Hatfield presented a proposal submitted by Radio Sarnia-Lambton that during a period of emergency 1070 CHOK will provide continued information with both of their FM stations providing regular updates. They propose that CAER would be responsible for reimbursement of lost revenue to CHOK should the continued broadcast interfere with client contracts. The working committee would like the service to be on a "user pay" basis and ask for a breakdown of costs for 24 hours. Members would like to know if St. Clair Twp. EOC would be included in the process of the broadcast. The proposal will be submitted to the CAER Board at the next committee meeting on January 26, 2004. Committee Reports Response Review: Tom Cooper Please see attachment CVECO Executive: Roy Dewhirst The next CVECO Executive Meeting will be held on January 16, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. and the following on March 23 2004 at 1:30 P.M. Traffic Report: Brian Hatfield reported that Sgt. Doug Waren is the new chair of the traffic committee. The new CVECO Boxes have been picked up by St. Clair Twp. but not installed yet. Security: Brian Hatfield had nothing to report in Dan Overy�s absence. Community Awareness Committee: Brian Hatfield presented a report in Chris Powell�s absent. Please see link. A copy of the completed Communication Plan was also distributed (please see attachment) and will be presented to the CAER Board at the meeting held on January 26, 2022 at 9:30 A.M. Financial: Brian Hatfield gave a report on income from membership fees received and outstanding accounts as of January 13, 2004. New Business
