Keeping the Community Informed |
The most important thing
in an emergency is knowing the right thing to do to keep yourself and your
family safe. Ensuring the residents of Sarnia-Lambton have the information they
need is the responsibility of the CAER Community Awareness Committee (CAC).
In addition to producing the CAER Emergency Guide and providing information to
the public through local media "infomercials", the CAC also coordinates public
events and educational activities for local school boards.
This year, the annual Emergency Preparedness Day will be held on
Friday, April 30th
at the
Clearwater Arena on Wellington Street. The event showcased local emergency
response capabilities and provided many hands-on activities for the whole
family to learn and have fun.
