Dear neighbour,

I would like to inform you that Shell personnel and the St Clair Township Fire Department will be conducting an emergency response training exercise at the Shell Marketing Terminal, located just south of Froomfield, on St.Clair Parkway. The marketing facility is a trucking terminal that supplies Shell gasoline and diesel fuel to our customers and distribution partners.

We plan to conduct this emergency drill on Monday, October 18, 2021 between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. During the exercise we will be testing our warning systems, reviewing our safety procedures, testing equipment, and evaluating notification and communication protocol with our St Clair Township emergency response partners. We will also incorporate any key learning's from this exercise into our emergency plans and training systems.

Dependent on wind direction, the fire alarms may be audible to our near neighbours in Froomfield and we 'd like to assure you that we will keep any noise disturbances to a minimum. You may also notice St Clair Township Fire Department vehicles and personnel respond to our facility during the drill.

Should you have any questions or concerns about this training exercise, please contact me at my Hamilton office at 905-525-7550, or locally you can call Chris Lackey, Sarnia Terminal Operator at 481-1267.

Sincerely,

Dennis Kennedy
